Youth Track
Do you have an aspiring runner interested in learning more about the sport? Our YMCA track program is designed for kids, ages 5 to 17.
The program will foster a passion for running while developing speed, endurance and confidence in a supportive team-oriented environment.
Youth Track Ages 3-4
Youth Track is a coed track/running program that will meet once weekly for an hour to an hour and 15 minutes. Athletes are introduced to form and technique as well as a program designed to increase stamina. Runners will aim to build confidence and enhance endurance.
This will be a 4 week session, that meets once per week for an hour. Start date for the 3-4 year olds will be week of March 17th and end week of April 12th. All 3 year olds will need to turn 4 by 12/31/2025 in order to register. Athletes will participate in one meet (included in registration fee).
All athletes will receive a shirt and participation medal.

Youth Track Ages 5-17
Youth Track is a coed track/running program that will meet once weekly for an hour to an hour and 15 minutes. Athletes are introduced to form and technique as well as a program designed to increase stamina. Runners will aim to build confidence and enhance endurance.
Program will be a 6 week season, March 3rd through April 12th. Athletes will have one practice per week for an hour to an hour and 15 minutes. Practices will be held on any of the following days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday mornings (TBD). Weekday practice time would be 5:45pm-7pm and Saturday morning practice time would be 8:30am-9:45am. Location to be determined.
Athletes will participate in one meet (included in registration fee), as well as time trials throughout the season to measure their individual improvement.
All athletes will receive a shirt and participation medal.
