2024 Traditional Day and Y Explorers Camp Themes
Pre-Camp Week: Celebrating the beginning of Summer camp with our camp kick-off!
Game On Week: This is the only week we do not say “no” to video games. Campers will enjoy some old-school as well as newly-created indoor/outdoor games.
Color Craze Week: Explore colors through arts and crafts. We will also have our Annual Summer Color Run on the trail!
Community Helper Week: This is an educational yet fun way to get to know the community around us and how it works. We will get hands-on learning from the professionals of the community.
Mad Scientist Week: Get mad about science by making your own explorations and inventions!
Party In The USA Week: Take a break and celebrate! This is an Olympic-style week where we will do friendly competitions where everyone is a winner.
Around The World Week: Let’s “travel” around the world in a week! Experience the culture of different countries, traditions and modes of travel.
Through The Decades Week: It’s fun teaching the younger generation about how we went from decades of inventions to new creations.
Survivor Week: Let’s get physical! We will see who survives this week of camp. This camp is designed to build teamwork and encourage communication.
Spirit Week: Pep rally-style camp. Participation from campers to run the opening and closing assemblies and participate in a daily theme for a chance to win prizes. End of summer celebration!
Great Outdoors Week: This week we will visit some local lakes, trails, and mountains!
