Home School PE classes are designed to keep your child active while learning new skills in a fun, instructor-led setting.
Classes are offered for children ages 5 – 14 on Wednesdays at the Thomas E. Hannah Family YMCA and on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Middle Tyger YMCA from 1 – 3 pm.
Parents are to drop off their children at the YMCA to begin class at 1:00 pm.
From 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm participants take part in a physical fitness class that includes warm up, stretch, basic strength and endurance, and dynamic warm up. Each week students also work on sports skill development by learning the basics of basketball, soccer, pickleball, volleyball, golf, or another sport.
From 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm participants will receive a guided swim lesson based on skill and ability.
Parents are to pick up children from the swimming pool area by 3:00 pm.
